We met in 2022 at a university day job on a farm, paired together behind the coffee bar. Rebecca didn’t show much interest beyond friendship, but I was ready to make it official. I remember telling myself just to stay composed enough that she’d give me her number by the end of the day. When I finally asked, she gave me her Instagram instead. Still a win, because look at us now. To be continued…
Acording to Rebecca
We met back in 2022 at Willow’s Farm, a children’s park. We were put to work together at the café, where David was behind the bar making coffees and teas while I was on the tills. I remember we actually worked really well together, and the manager ended up moving us to the kitchen where we continued working together. That’s where we got to talk more and get to know each other. I just remember thinking, “This is cool guy, I could actually see myself being close friends with him.”
At the end of the shift he asked for Instagram and we started speaking on there. Side note: he did ask me to go to Nando’s, but he never responded after that... but he more than made up for it!
